Dr. Sarah Werner, DDS
Restoring health, esthetics and function are Dr. Werner’s specialties in her boutique-style practice, and she is dedicated to providing the very best dental care for her patients .
Dr. Werner graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. After two years as a research assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health, she continued post-graduate studies at the University of Minnesota where she received a Master’s degree in Human Science and a Dental degree in 1985. While a dental student Dr. Werner organized and facilitated a weekly Health Education Program at a Women’s Medium Security Prison.
After practicing dentistry for 10 years in Wisconsin, Dr. Werner relocated the Denver and opened a practice in the Cherry Creek area in 1997. She has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, a Clinical Instructor at University of Colorado Dental School and an Attending Clinical Instructor at Denver Health Medical Center. A past-president of the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club, Dr. Werner travels to Latin America annually to provide free dental care to poor children. She has also traveled on dental missions to Kenya and Cambodia with Global Dental Relief.
Dr. Werner has received the Rotary “Service Above Self” and “Rotarian of the Year” awards, the “Meritorious Public Service” award from the United States Navy in recognition of her literacy program for children and a certificate of appreciation from the United States Army for her support of the Army Reserve.
